Herbs used in this facial steam

-       Promote healthy glow. That boost in circulation combined with a blast of hydration to the surface, will help you look refreshed and rejuvenated. It will also allow your cream and serum to penetrate deeper.

Our 100% organic flower mix is made with 

-       Rose petals and buds. Extremely soothing and helping skin repair and retain moisture.

-       Lavender flowers. Calming and cleansing impurities.

-       Cornflower (Bleuet). Toning agent rich in anthocyanins that have strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.  

-       Jasmine flowers. Increases skin's elasticity and help balance moisture.

-       Chamomile Roman flowers. Soothing dry sensitive skin and helps problematic skin.

-       Chamomile German flowers. Beautifying plant, wonderfully soothing even the most irritated skin.

-       Lime-tree (Tilleul). Soothing herb that also relieves itchy skin.

-       Calendula flowers. Calming effect capable of healing irritated and helping sensitive skin.

-       Hibiscus flowers. Rich in antioxidants, hibiscus is the anti-aging plant that does miracles for the skin, evens the tone, makes it radiant, and lowers the visible signs of skin aging and the appearance of hyperpigmentation or age spots.

-       Green tea. Antioxidant that combat signs of aging, improve the firmness and make dull skin look healthier.

Usage

• Remove makeup and cleanse your face thoroughly.
• Pour 3 to 4 cups of boiling water to a medium to large size bowl.
• Add 2 tsp of “Simply Magical” and mix slowly with love J
• Lean over the bowl, keep your face about 20cm from the water, and drape a towel over your head to create a tent. Be careful: the steam should feel soothing—not too hot!
• Steam your face for about 10 minutes.
• Use a bamboo or cotton pad to gently wipe and cleanse the face, removing the excess oil and dirt.  
• Rinse your face lukewarm water and finish off by gently patting your skin with your favorite cream or serum.

Only as an option, you can add maximum 2 drops of essential oil in the mixture. We like using Lavender that is antiseptic, soothing, and calming and works for every skin type. Another option is Geranium that is astringent, helps tighten the skin, giving a tired, sagging complexion a quick lift. Alternatively Tea tree or Rosemary are antibacterial and great for problematic, acne prone skin. 

Always carefully read the instructions when using essential oils and avoid if pregnant or nursing.
