Carrot Oil is a “must have” for all-natural golden sun-kissed glow. With the abundance of vitamin A and carotenes, Carrot oil prepares the skin for sun exposure & tanning. Rub the Carrot Oil onto your entire body few times a day so it gets into your bloodstream. Start preparation week(s) in advance.
2) Accelerate tanning by adding Carrot oil to your SPF cream. We love to pair Carrot with our gorgeous Raspberry Seed Oil (one of the rare nature's little miracles that offers all natural SPF sun protection without destroying the marine life!). Always stay away from peak hours!
3) After-Sun Products to Calm Skin and Prolong tan
Our indispensible Body Butters & Body Oils offer maximum nourishment and after sun care.
To facilitate the regeneration of the epidermis and preserve uniform tan, our preffered simple oils next to the Carrot oil are:
Rosehip Seed Oil contains essential fatty acids that promote cellular and tissue regeneration. High in vitamin C, Rosehip has significant anti-aging effects, can improve skin tone and texture.
Sea Buckthorn Oil helps relieve sunburn and speed up healing. Loaded with antioxidants & carotenoids.
Essential oils like: Carrot Seed, known to nourish, tighten, rejuvenate and help with sunburns. Try Roman Chamomile to relieve sunburns, moisturize and soothe dry, flaky skin. And of course Lavender is all time champion for soothing skin.
Mix couple of drops of essential oil with homemade Aloe vera gel or Carrot Oil as a base, and you get an exquisite after-sun soothing product.
Burns are best treated with St. John’s Wort Oil mixed with few drops of Lavender Aspic.

Last but not least, for cooling down, don't forget to use Hydrosols to create wonderfully aromatic and refreshing body and room mists. Our personal favorites for use in summertime are Neroli, Lavender and Peppermint.
